Sheesh! You know, I couldn't make my mind up until about the third listen; and it struck me- this is exactly what they've been progressing up to. I think it's awesome- I've been seeing reviews either praising this up so high (or bashing it down so low) I was like, where do I fit in? It's one of the better albums of the year so far. My opinion must count more than yours cause I was born when all those records you named were released! lol I got a chance to listen hard to Hazards driving back and forth to Sacramento this weekend (really the best part of the weekend) I do love the Hammond organ prog rock sound they re-introduced. The Crane Wife at times reminded me of Tull's work when the organ would let loose in I guess what you call "Chase Music' (love it) Happy I've got tickets for the Decemberists at the Fox in May.
